Inclusion

Inclusion means that everyone has the opportunity to participate equally in social life, including the labor market. We also see this as important, necessary and enriching for our industry and our society.

In 2016, the print and media industry developed three nationally binding regulations to enable people with disabilities to gain qualifications. Just like our social reality, the diversity of the graphic arts industry knows no bounds. There are also professions in the graphic arts industry that people with and without disabilities can learn equally. These include

Specialist practitioner

Inclusion means that everyone can participate in social life on an equal footing - including in the labor market. The print and media industry is actively committed to this equal opportunity and offers specially adapted training paths for people with disabilities or mental impairments.

Specialist practitioner training in the sector enable practice-oriented qualification with individual support measures. There have been three nationwide regulations for this since 2016:

  • Specialist in media technology printing (industry/trade)
  • Media Technology Print Processing Specialist (Industry)
  • Specialist in bookbinding (craft)
